Coronavirus Update – 18 March 2020

By HarperLees

Whilst the news is dominated by the spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus, with major implications for public health and the NHS, it is also causing economic disruption and we want to reassure you that we have put in sensible measures to ensure that HarperLees is well prepared and well positioned to continue to support you without any difference to our usual service standards.

We are focused on two key aspects; the health and welfare of our clients and staff and our ability to continue to support clients. Please see below for the specific actions we are taking:

  • We will be closing the office and all staff will be working from home from Monday 23 March 2020 until the end of April 2020.
  • All client meetings during this time will either be postponed until we are able to resume normal service or we can offer video conferencing or telephone consultations.
  • We will be closing the office at 12pm on Friday 20 March to enable staff to ensure all technology is up and running, ready for Monday. This will enable a smooth transmission limiting the impact of the transfer over to home working.
  • Our office phone line will be rerouted and calls can still be transferred to the appropriate Planner or Paraplanner so you can still call on the standard number, which is 01277 350 560. You also have access to any of the Director’s on their mobile numbers as shown below:
    • Adrian Quick 07885 731 989
    • Mark MacLean 07973 270 772
    • Steph McDonald 07890 942 512
  • We will be redirecting our post to one member of staff at home, however if you do need to post something to us, please contact your Planner or Paraplanner in the first instance as we may offer an alternative address.

The coronavirus outbreak is clearly a constantly evolving situation but we want to reassure you that we are taking sensible precautions to minimise the potential impact of coronavirus on you, our level of service and of course our staff. We will be keeping you updated regularly and will look to re-open the office as soon as possible, following government guidance. Please rest assured that while there will ultimately be changes to the way our service is being offered, your level of service and our commitment to you will not change.

We will be making contact with you over the next couple of days before the office closes.
