Meet the team: A Q&A with client administrator Danny

By HarperLees

In this month’s Q&A, we hope you’ll enjoy getting to know Danny Price, our client administrator.

Read on to learn more about Danny’s background, how he helps our team to support our clients, and some of the things he enjoys doing outside of work.

1. What is your role at HarperLees and how do you help your clients?

As a client administrator at HarperLees, I’m responsible for preparing, filing, and ensuring that client data is up to date for their meetings with our planners. I work closely with both planners and paraplanners to gather all the necessary information from clients, allowing us to provide accurate financial figures and help them plan for the future.

2. What did you do before working at HarperLees?

Before joining HarperLees, I worked in client relationship management, assisting high-end clients in London select natural stone based on their preferences and budget. I was also involved in business sales, ensuring we delivered top-notch service to all our clients. Additionally, I studied business management at university and have experience in the defence sector, liaising with NATO members.

3. What is your favourite part of your role at HarperLees?

The best part of my role is being present in client meetings and hearing first-hand how our work has positively impacted their lives. It’s incredibly rewarding to be part of a company that not only helps people but also changes the way they view their financial future.

4. What do you believe sets HarperLees apart from other financial planning firms?

HarperLees stands out because of the personalised service we provide to each client. The strong, genuine relationships we build with our clients make our approach much more unique than a typical financial advisory firm.

Even in my short time here, I’ve already seen how deeply the planners care about their clients, and there’s a real personal connection that sets us apart.

5. What is a common misconception you hear from clients about financial planning?

A common misconception is that financial planning is only for the wealthy or those with complex financial situations. In reality, financial planning benefits everyone, regardless of income or assets. It helps set clear goals, manage finances effectively, and prepare for future needs—whether big or small.

6. What are your favourite hobbies or pastimes when you’re not at work?

I love walking my dog, Zeus, and watching him play with his doggy friends. There’s nothing better than being on the beach or in an open field, seeing dogs running off-lead, enjoying life to the fullest!

7. What would your dream meal be?

My dream meal would be pineapple fried rice—specifically on a beach in Koh Lanta, Thailand.

8. What’s a goal that you’re working towards at the moment, personally or professionally?

I’m currently working towards becoming a financial planner at HarperLees. I’ve started my journey with my RO1 studying, and I’m excited to see where the next few years take me!
